New Year, New You!

'New Year, New You!' What does that really mean?

There's nothing wrong with setting goals and making plans to become the best version of yourself. After all, 2 Corinthians 5:17 reads, "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, this person is a new creation; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come."

The key to the 'new you' is that you are in Christ, united with Him. Your goals, mindset, and actions are aligned with His. Setting aside time for self-care should not be guilt ridden. Loving yourself is paramount in order to be in position to properly care for others (Mark 12:31).

Don't ever feel guilty for investing in you. We can't become who God called us to be if we don't properly feed ourselves and allow for any necessary pruning as we grow.

How will you invest in yourself this year?
