You don't need a scheduled block of time, expensive props, or long Bible lesson to pour into your child(ren). All you need is a willing heart and direction from the Holy Spirit to take advantage of an impromptu teachable moment. Looking at a rainbow after a storm can be an opener about God's promise to never destroy all life on earth by water and the obedience of Noah. With the simple flick of the light switch you can describe Day 1 of Creation when God said, "Let there be light."
