Learning when and how to say thank you is an important social skill. It's equally important, if not more so, to be able to recognize our blessings and what we have been given.
What are you thankful for? Tell your child(ren) what you are thankful for and ask them what they are thankful for. Next, you and your child(ren) take turns thanking God. If your child is too young or nonverbal, let them hear you thank God. You can speak for them and say, for example, "Thank you, God for mommy and daddy."
"In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus." ~ 1 Thessalonians 5:18
